Organic & biodynamic. I am not sure of the reasoning behind someone giving this an end drinking date of 2023 but in my humble opinion, this is currently in its peak drinking window. Although I will admit to quite enjoying youthful rieslings, in my experience, Josmeyer rieslings are especially interesting (and rewarding) to hold onto for multiple years and this is no exception. Very enjoyable but nevertheless, I probably wouldn't push holding it past 2025-2026.
APPEARANCE: Color & intensity: medium lemon
NOSE: Intensity: medium (+) Aromas: Meyer lemon, lime, yellow apple, crushed chalk, honeycomb, walnut, baking spices, hint of white pepper Development: developing
PALATE: Sweetness: dry Acidity: medium (+) Alcohol: medium Body: medium Intensity: medium (+) Flavors: lemon, lime, lemon zest, crushed chalk, white flowers, walnut, baking spices, hints of acacia honey and white pepper Finish: medium (+)
CONCLUSIONS: Quality level: very good Potential for ageing: can drink now, but has potential for some further ageing

Aromatisk upresis
