  • Brett that blows off leaving a savory mix of bell pepper, iron, and red fruits on the nose. On the palate it's supple and graceful with intensity in spite of its light frame. Good acidity keeps it fresh and detailed. Deceptively long on the back end. Outstanding in a less is more mode. This morphed with more leafiness and lift served cooler but lost some of its length and palate feel.

  • Popped and poured. Rich black fruit and cinnamon aroma. Clean flavors of cassis, vanilla. Lovely black pepper finish. Firm backbone, rich and pure fruit, joyous, delightful, great staying power. Good QPR.

  • Light and greenish, but pleasant 2.5

  • Initally, there's a moderate animal reduction that thankfully goes away with a few turns in the glass. Soon, we get well-defined, lightly stemmy and beautifully red-fruited cab/grolleau perfumes with a fresh hint of green, brilliant acidity and excellent concentration for such a light-bodied wine. The tannins are light/fine and the finish notably long, with a discretely warming presence of the 13% abv. It may well be the best version of Les Tabeneaux so far. Fairly priced, it's a wine to buy by the case. (Disclaimer: ITB with Swedish importer Vin & Natur).
