The rarest of the Breuer wines, from a few rows of Heunisch vines in Rüdesheimer Berg Rottland, and 2008 was the maiden vintage. Pale white gold with green reflections, very youthful appearance; expressive and open nose of minerals, yellow Chardonnay-like fruit, and strong honeysuckle and lime notes; juicy palate with vibrant 2008-acidity, light and elegant (11.5% ABV) but intense and energetic, clean and pure, with zesty bitters; very good resonance and length. Excellent. From the Raritätenkarte at Breuer’s Rüdesheimer Schloss.
