Gorgeous bottle of Aligoté and shows what can be done with the grape in Oregon.
This wine sorta reminds me of some of the young bottles of Ceritas Chardonnay I’ve had. Yet still distinctively Aligoté with a clear beam of limey fruit. There’s some pleasant/mild reduction as well. Lovely balance. 92-93.

Absolutely love the nose on this wine. There is reduction, oak, chalk, minerals, a touch of caramel and some citrus jumping out of the glass in a harmonious package. The taste has similar flavors with just the right amount of acidity. After about an hour the aroma, especially the reduction, settles down a bit and lemon flavors come out more in the taste. A classy, sophisticated, exciting wine. I think this is tasting great now, not sure it will get better with more time.

Ok so it's still got that Cracker Jack thing going on, several years later. Perhaps it's a bit more candied at this stage, burnt caramel corn. Nose: cracker jacks & extinguished match. Palette has some lemon meringue, Motts apple juice, sea salt vanilla taffy. This, after some air, has more minerality and freshness than a few years ago when it was more fruit forward. Otherwise strikingly similar to when we drank it in 2020.
