Ok but not great. Ruby colored and floral nose. So a good start. Taste has a watery bitterness, perhaps over oaked but I didn’t think these wines were commonly oaked. Kind of woody tasting. Not terrible but not awesome either. Won’t get again.

Very Good-
Nice red fruit, a bit of cedar, somewhat rustic, tannins are modest. A bit simple, but a nice fit for steak frites.
14.5% abv (I wouldn't have guessed it - maybe they flexed the abv during the strange tariff drama?)
Empty bottle weight: 415g (Featherweight)

Starting to develop, certainly soft enough with some fruit. Don’t think this will ever be a silk purse but a lot more than a pigs ear either. Good solid Merlot.
