Most of the aroma is dominated by oaky vanilla notes (earthy?) but there is some sweet red fruit underneath. The flavor is still mostly tart red cherries, blueberries and pomegranate. Simple, but more balanced and well integrated than I remember.
A little thin, alcoholic and disjointed at first, but that improved with air. ~3 hours after decanting this started to taste good, thickened up some, and gained some interesting spice notes.
Improving.

Smokey, earthy aroma — that’s really all I get at first, with some dried leaves too. Smokey red berry flavor which is not my favorite. The finish is better, with some ripe strawberry notes. On the simpler side. Good, but not really my favorite style and expensive. C didn’t really care for it either, mentioned vinegar notes.

Shaved vanilla bean, berry compote, café latte, thick and luscious, chopped herbs on the finish. Delicious.
