  Clear pale garnet; clean medium nose of mince meat tart, Xmas pudding, cherries and soil; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; high alcohol; medium body; pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of cocoa, black licorice and alcohol burn; long finish; this is our 3rd of 4 bottles and we have not been impressed; we liked the 2011 much better; not sure if 2013 was a much different vintage or whether our batch of 2013s were off or whether our tastes have changed; will give our last bottle a couple more years
