Dark deep red, totally opaque. Nice nose. Fruit forward with red and black fruits, and LOTS of oak. Drinking one glass on its own for now, expecting it to be better with food later.

I tried another bottle just to be sure, my score is the same but the over fruit was better. Full bodied, medium tannins and nice finish, the fruit was balanced and worth a try.

It was full bodied and with medium tannins, the blend of grapes added some much needed character to this red. For this price point I was hoping for more texture and taste, I would definitely order this as a restaurant buy, not sure it is cellar worthy at this price point.

I used to live in the Paso area and looked forward to their higher end wine. It was a big disappointment. I had two bottles and the first one we drank a few months ago. It was sweet and then not too good. This time I aired for an hour, thinking the sweetness would air out. I ended up blending it with box wine to make it more cab tasting. Too much money for this.

Med+ intensity nose of ripe blackberry, sour cherry, and chocolate. Initial sips were a tad sweet, but had great notes of blackberry, chocolate, raspberry and oak. This opened up really nicely and some of the sugar faded. Med finish of blackberry and chocolate.
Med+/full bodied, silky smooth, and tight tannins that turned to chocolate on the palate.
Will sip again for sure.
