2nd to last bottle from a half case. This is over the hill, particularly on the nose. Nose is entirely secondary: honey, musty, waxy. Advanced color to match. In the mouth, a bit more life left, however the sugar and acidity seem to hit at different times and are disjointed. A nice wine several years ago, but seemed to mature faster than 2004, a wine I've always preferred to the 2005.

Aromas of green apple, honey and chalky minerality. Light-medium bodied with some RS, but nicely balanced by acidity. Just starting to show a little secondary notes. Fairly good length. Goes down easily.

Excellent value. Almost sweet but food-friendly wine. Good balance, velvety texture, exciting nose of lychee and flowers. Personally, I prefer older rieslings, but surely this will evolve into an even better wine. 88+

No detailed note, as I drank this a few days ago... but very very good IMO. Lots of green apple and yummy sweetness. Real nice balance. Only disappointing aspect (for the price) is that this used a synthetic cork, rather than real cork or a screwcap... c'est la vie. Will try to remember a real note next time!
