Exceptional Bordeaux Blanc by Cheval Blanc. It’s a first vintage when it is not a single varietal SB, but a blend of 74% SB and 26% Semillon. Aged for 18 months in new demi-muids and oak vats. Pale lemon. Explosive and complex aroma of jasmine, gooseberries, flint, passionfruit, tomato leaves, white peaches, lemon zest. Full body, fresh and vibrant texture with slight oiliness and eruptive flavours of white currants, passionfruit, flint, salt, citrus peel. Gorgeous crisp high acidity and everlasting finish.

This is, in my opinion, an underrated wine. It was incredibly great. In the nose both the Sauvignon and the Semillon could well be identified and gave wonderful complex aromas. Mouthfeel was intense and well structured with great acidity. Long long aftertaste. We drank the wine along the 2009 Palmer and you could actually drink both side by side without "disturbing" each other or the Petit Cheval falling off against the red. Incredible drinking experience. Will definitely buy again.

Well made but not my taste - a little too much of the Y new world expression for me

Cat pee, cut grass, lemon, gooseberry, flint, medium + acidity, clear, pale yellow. Nice rounded mouthfeel, not linear like Sancerre

Went well with grilled sword fish dinner. PnP without decanting or airing though I’ve thought in past whites benefit from that as well.
