  • Transparent, orange to brick colour. Very interesting nose, lovely, perfumed, floral, reminiscent of mature light red burgundy. Notes of tomato stem, herbs (especially thym), dog rose, orange, hints of cloves. Really good, juicy, herbal palate, with rounded acidity. Shows maturity, at the same time totally refreshing, with a quite enjoyable aftertaste. The poulsard grapes seem to have received perfect ripeness in this hot vintage, which is not always the case. Served lightly chilled, this is a truly original wine, perfect for outdoor drinking.
