PnP, beautiful nose, not shy . Blackberry, currant, herbs, fig, spice, cedar aromas. Layers of flavor with red and black fruits, sandalwood, graphite, forest floor, spice, some oak, but not overpowering. Very smooth tannins in the long finish. showing well now.
This surprisingly tasted like a 20 year old bottle. Definitely some carmelization and mustiness that never blew off despite being decanted for two hours before tasting.

Gharter note is spot on. I gave this two hours slow ox. Nice red and black fruits wrapped in finely grained tannins. Black currants, black cherries and fig on the nose and palate.A bit more accessible than the 2016 at this age, but still a bit more reserved compared with the 2010 or 2012. This is a unique blend of Napa and Sonoma mountain grapes I believe that 27 separate lots were used in the final blend.

Big, classic Pride cab. Will be better with age (or decanting) - probably 93-94. From wine list at Beano’s Cabin (Beaver Creek).
