Two hours decant, probably needed a tiny bit more. Intense wine, blackberry, anise, burnt arabica beans, resin of blueberry pipe tobacco. In 10 years, I believe this will move up 23 points, really well made and intriguing TRB wine.

After a two-hour aggressive decant, this wine absolutely shined. Decadent, plush and velvety tannins. Almost overwhelming spectacular on the entry. Ripe plum, prune, fig, molasses early, with slight pinecone and raw blackberry pipe tobacco coming on mid-palate through finish. Incredible depth and power. Shifts gears effortlessly. Outstanding wine

Knocking this up a few points since last tasting in April 2021. Served blind, and called TRB based on the style. This has definitely opened up as I recall from my April tasting it was pretty tightly wound. Served after only an hour of air. Will look to buy more given the price point.

First time trying this wine. Loved the aromas from the bottle upon opening. Loads of dark fruits and a touch of vanilla. First palate impression was bold flavors of the same coupled with mocha and a leather note. With more time in the glass, the wine definitely opened and continued to show more depth and character. Still quite an early wine, I would definitely do a longer decant on the next bottle (we only gave it 30 minutes). More elegant and finessed wine.
