  The aromas burst from the glass within minutes of opening (my fairly aggressive pour probably helped) chocolate, plum, hints of forest floor, spiced-raspberry and subtle earthy notes; palate proved to be silky with telltale Zin notes of cola and plum plus some interesting older flavours like spiced-balsamic-raspberries and stewed fruit all with a long finish that brought cedar and vanilla to the after-party.

  Closed at the begining, but with time, it shown good fruit (mostly red fruits, with a sweet strawberry on top) with red pepper and a very light wood. Was a little too alchoolic on the nose, but due to the temperature. On the mouth the strike was dry, with tuff but thin tannins and a medium long finish with a medium bitterness (but not deffective). It was much better when the food arrived, even thou the harmonization was not perfect (a spicy indian couscous, with meat and a lot of vegetables). Fit just good in the price.
