Non-blind. Had immediately at Wedding Reception at Maison Paul Bocuse (Daikanyama, Tokyo). Impression: Outstanding with extra stars. Beautiful straw yellow color. Nose is distinctly oaky with almost petrochemical properties. Grande and rich. In the mouth this wine fulfills its promises. Enters with a young feeling and fine acids, mid palate is already rich and fattening up and the finish is long with rich and luxurious roasted oak. Throughout, it is showing fine concentration and composure. Went very well with the wedding dinner. There is much life left in this wine and it is still far from its peak. Feel little sorry for those who had this too early, but patience *is* a virtue. Very well chosen wine! (Wife: 89p.)
Entrée: Crémant de Bourgogne... Red wine: Red Burgundy... ...so with the main dish I chose to have mugi shouchu (mizu wari) and imo shouchu (rokku).

Oak not fully integrated yet. Lots of grapefruit bitterness gives this wine enough lift. I like it. Wait another year or two. 89-90pts
