  This is richer, indeed heavier, than I recall from Marcel Richaud's elegant CdR cuvées in the past. However there are very attractive notes of sweet cherry and rose petal in the fruit, dabs of spice, a nice edge of varnish to the acidity which provides balance for the richness and some liquorice on the firm finish. I was surprised to note alcohol of 15% as there was no sensation of burn. Good+.
