This is among the most intense plastic notes I’ve ever gotten on a Riesling. It’s a little overwhelming on the nose, but it integrates well into the rest of the palate. Sweet honey, honeysuckle, ripe apricot, and yellow apples accompany the petrol carried by a noticeable amount of residual sugar. Paired very well with Szechuan food. It’s a good deal at $16 and I just wish I had more bottles to see how it’s developed in a few years.
