  Tart cherry and cola. Alcohol fall off after a bit. smooth but a bit watery.

  100% Pinot Noir
  from a 0.2 ha parcel of the Lieu-Dit microclimat Longbois in Volnay
  with clay and limestone soils and vines of average age 40 yrs
  sustainably farmed.
  Manual harvest. Meticulous sorting.
  Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks (since 2018).
  Aged in French oak barrels (10% new).
  13% Abv. 1200 bottles
  Background: Domaine created over 300 yrs ago comprising 13 ha
  and managed all this time by the Monthelie and Douhairet families.
  In 1989 Amande Douhairet recruited André Porcheret, her adopted son,
  who had been cellarmaster at the Hospices de Beaune (1976-1988, 1993-1999)
  as well as collaborator (1988-1993) of Lalou Bize-Leroy with her pioneering efforts
  in Biodynamics. With the passing of Miss Amande in 2004,
  Porcheret was joined by his grand-daughter Cataldina Lippo.
  In 2014, her partner Vincent Monfort arrived and the two run the domaine today.
  
  A(ccuracy)=2: Med ruby/red. Mildly fragrant, floral varietal.
  B(alance)=3: Refined components in harmony.
  C(omplexity)=2: Fresh red berries, spices, incense, mineral.
  D(epth)=1: Textured mouthfeel. Good length and finish.
