  • Dark berry and current, pyrazine, some savory earthy herb and makes me think of like deglazing or reducing shallots? M to M+ body, M acid, M- tannins. I like this better than I expected, better than a typical Argentina Malbec for sure, nice enough value for $15.

  • Agree with the other reviews. Something seems off here. The wine has a nice enough nose of some fresh red fruit, and the taste starts we'll, but then falls flat into this odd finish of cedar and tannin. The strangest wine I've had recently - I'm wondering if this is maybe a dead zone for this wine? I have a few more bottles, so maybe I'll give it a year and try another.

  • Significantly better than the first bottle, but still nothing special. Got the notes I saw after leaving the first bottle for a few days upon open this time. Maybe I’m just not a fan of French Malbec? Nothing special.

  • Was undrinkable on opening - overly funky, almost an acrid/vinegar taste, gag-inducing. Let sit in the fridge for several days vacuum-sealed, opened and let it air out for a couple hours. Wine completely changed and mellowed out - dark purple, nose was brooding, leathery with some funk, coffee, cherries in the background. The wine was nothing super special and would not seek it out again. Some light tannins, thought it was somewhat dull. Fairly disappointed in the bottle - maybe it will improve with a couple years (have two more bottles to go).
