  Pale ruby-garnet. Candied fruits and spices on the nose, light to medium bodied, quite high acid (Dolcetto supposed to be a low-acid variety?), mid-bodied tannins, earthy. It's quite suave for what it is. A quaffing wine to be consumed with food and not too much fanfare or thought. (**)

  Solid dolcetto. A little tight upon opening but after 30 mins showed nice dark red fruit, a bit of dusty earth, hint of florals. Black cherry and plum flavors on the palate with medium+ acid, medium tannin and body. Easy drinking and perfect pizza wine.
