Caveat: Zinfandel is a grape/style I am not enamored with.
Medium to light bodied, with notes of fresh strawberries and pomegranate that verge on jammy by mid-quaff. A touch of leathery tannins at the end completes the picture. Over the course of a couple hours, the wine trends more to jammy for the first half of the palate and sour creeps up on the back half. The leather remains the same.
A serviceable table wine. A nice contrapuncta to our dinner of pulled pork tacos, but not as enjoyable on its own.
