OK ... I admit ... I'm not a Bordeaux fan yet. I opened this one up, decanted it and an hour later, it was still pretty tight and not that enjoyable, especially drinking it before eating the beef. It didn't really add to the enjoyment of the beef, hence the lower rating. Maybe CA, WA and Australia is where my palate is.

Although it pours with a tinge of brown, it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. It had a pepper spiciness that worked with the homemade pizza.
