High density planting clones 114 and 777 10% whole bunch 20% new French hogsheads for 9 months Colour deep ruby magenta edges clear and bright 15/15 Nose telltale Bannockburn funk , not sure what or where it’s from but it’s also in their Syrah hard to describe . mix of spice and whole bunch plus red and blue fruits, earthy gamey mushroom , dried leafs , savoury end of the spectrum 28/30 Palate med-full bodied generous ripe fruits, cherry plums , grippy tannins , smooth acidity , cassis red liquorice , milk chocolate long finish 41/44 Overall rich full flavoured Pinot , nice now probably better in a couple of years , enjoyable 9/11

Nose of preserved cherry, forest floor, and leather, with hints of acorn and pine. Palate shows soft, sour acidity and firm, full-bodied tannin. Flavours of preserved cherry, rhubarb, and cola. A hint of something sour and fermented (kimchi?).
