  • Consumed at home with grilled New York steak. Bright disc. Opaque purple robe with violet rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of black currants, chocolate and spice. Full-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity, medium-to-large, coarse tannins and flavors which mirror the nose. The middle is thin (albeit not totally hollow) and the resurrected finish is short-to-medium. Although somewhat unidimensional, this wine is quite drinkable and a very decent value at $10.
