I drank this over the course of 3 days. My first impression was like licking a cedar plank. It opened up though over the next couple days and actually kind of grew on me each day. It wasn't really balanced. Label says 16.2% alcohol and it showed. This wine was a gift included in a wine basket, so I do not know the price point. Based on taste alone, I would not buy it again.

Surprisingly yummy for an obscure odd bottle that somehow ended up in the Cave. Mellowed tannins bring out the dark plum and oak flavors. Drank it with Phil prior to a Chicken dinner.
