  Another Aldi trial. For $13.99 we'll take the just-as-rewarding Aldi Outlander Meritage for $7.99.
  
  It's very basic, as we don't get large fruit, earth or any complexity or sophistication at all. We drank it accompanied by pesto, homemade bread sandwiches, hummus & carrots, and gogosi cu bani for the Orthodox Christmas.
  
  As a "house" wine it'd perfectly acceptable, but we wouldn't order a second - and we'll buy no more of this, while we continue to enjoy our Outlander drink after drink, bottle after bottle!
