Lovely nose of freshly squeezed lemon juice followed by heaps of wet chalk. Hints of petroleum jelly (?).
The mouth follows with lemon, wet rocks/chalk and slight hints of almond paste in a rich and absolutely perfectly balanced finish. Paired with smoked salmon, fresh lobster, spanakopita and cheesecake for dessert. Phenomenal Chablis on a warm spring night. 94.
