  While the nose is decent if perfumed and has forest berries and ripe cherry over a touch of black currant, it is not the expected raspberry and doesn’t have the typicity and the magic I expected of a PN. The palate is of a confectionary style almost reminiscent of a Beaujolais. Crowd pleasing grape juice lacking acidity and not serious, covering over imperfections with lipstick, but what do you ex-pect at under 5 € ? This sounds more offputting than it actually is. In fact, this is an appropriate Pizza party wine for teenagers or something, harmonizes perfectly with this age of utter shamelessness and at that price one might opt for buying a couple for an uncritical audience - which is most people. I'm serious. Not bad at all once one accepts what it is.
