Ryan's ESPN Birthday: Started off much stronger than the 2019 Nourrissons. Nice notes of lychee, peaches, mango, and mineral water. Drinking nicely today, but should have better days ahead. A tad simple now, but pleasurable.

A truly fabulous wine. This actually showed better on day two, with intense honey, mandarin orange, crazy midpalate weight and searing acidity, with a lengthy finish. This along with Les Coqueries have been my best Chenins in the past year.
Similar in style to Richard Leroy (we drank a 17 Noels next to it). Both really transparent and true to the variety. The Leroy was more ethereal and nuanced with little hints of things whereas the Ongles was more deep and powerful.

Flinty, smoky mineral nose. Great energy on the palate, complex fruit, minerality. Really good.

Just okay today. Fairly thin with linear notes of stone fruit and lychee. Not too exciting, needs more definition and depth.

Lovely notes of lychee, peaches, mango, and minerality. Showed more broadness and depth than the prior bottle.
