Natural cork closure; color was pretty golden so I was somewhat concerned, but this turned out to be just fine; riper and richer than the regular Savigny blanc with baked apple and pear, some lemon pie; the palate is round and rich, but has more energy than initially it seems like it might. Very enjoyable; will probably drink my other bottle soon rather than risk oxidation.

Pretty pale color, and some aromatic honeysuckle nose, maybe a little matchstick there as well. Enjoyable with some pear and green apple there. Nice, maybe I’d like a little more acid bite. Fwiw this is $100+ wine.
