  • Rubinrød, medium dyp.

Forførende nese med markjordbær, krydder, jordsmonn, grønn pepper og fat.

Smaker kjølig rød frukt, krydder, grønne urter og fat. Balansert. Mye fatpreg. Potensial for lagring.

  • Nose: Raspberry compote, plum, blood orange, hints of lavender. That doesn't sound like Pinot Noir on paper but it genuinely is in glass here.

Taste: Very primary, with dark fruit, earth, and other forest nuances pushing into a significant mineral-driven, tannic midpalate which suddenly lightens up and finishes with subtle toasty oak. The quick end is a surprise given the weight of the attack and midpalate.

It can seem that an attenuated finish like this signals an offering which might not pan out...but in this case I think it's just closed and will offer more length and complexity down the line. This is a bottling that needs minimum 5 years and should show well 5-10 years after that. If you have some....try one now for science and bury the rest.
