Nice quality for Napa cab in this price range. Dark fruit, chocolate, and heavy cedar. Decanted 2 hours. Tannins took a while to mellow. Nice acidity and finish. Paired with outdoor grilled strip steak. Nice pairing.

Better than I thought for the price point even though I’m familiar with Raymond. Dark fruit, some spice and cedar, with yountville dust starting to show. Not usually a big cal cab fan mostly due to value but I thought this was excellent.

Rough right out of the bottle but transformed quickly (less than an hour) into a flavorful, medium bodied, fleshy cab. Notes of chocolate, coffee grounds and oak. Smooth but clipped finish. QPR is about right for $45. Drink up.
