First Delmas experience. The nose is definitely old world, but the mouthfeel is certainly more modern. However, that is not a dig on the wine, as it is completely elegant and graceful even with the Rocks complexities. I’m loving this level of Rocks funk. It’s present, but nowhere overpowering like I find from some houses. Beautiful fruit and a long cooling finish. Tannins are secondary to all else, but they linger for minutes. Delicious!

I’m still digging this wine. Lighter bodied, complex and delicious!

ESTG does American Syrah (and Petite Sirah) (Seattle, WA, USA): Super smoky, really seems like Walla Walla, super cherry, vibrant, savory and roasted. Young but nice showing.
