I really enjoyed this, more than the previous bottle. Had w/grilled wild Alaskan salmon, hicama and baby carrots along w/wild grain rice. The fresh caught Alaskan King salmon was fantastic, and this paired beautifully w/it. Light to medium bodied, w/an earth component on the nose. A medium length finish, and well structured/made pinot.

Popped and poured drinking from Reidel Oregon pinot noir stem. Day 1: Initial nose of barnyard/earth, raspberry, stewed plum, cherry and strawberry. Light medium in body w/nice balance and smooth finish. Now, on Day 2 the wine has opened and is slightly fuller. French in balance and finesse along w/light ruby color& hue. Kind of an odd place for pinot noir, Alsace...an unusual flavor, and unique flavor profile. Have not tasted pinots from this area previously, so perhaps unique flavor from the terrior, mostly known for white wines. Anyway, certainly quaffable, other CT reviewers seem to enjoy more than I, though I think the clock is ticking on this wine...drink up.

Very different for a Pinot. Very light berry flavor but with overtones of darker fruit. Smooth finish. Went really well with meatloaf and roasted vegetables.

Lighter than new world Pinots. Good berry taste. Nice finish.

Unique pinot noir, light and airy. Softer flavors and subtle characteristics like rose petals and spices. Excellent.
