  Showing some oxidation with dark golden color and ever so slight maderization which I thought added complexity. Fruit not as forward as I recalled when I purchased the wine, understandably, but the fact that this was a very well made wine, balanced and refined has helped it stand the test of time. Hints of peaches, almonds, lemon and apple come through.

  This wine has everything I really like in a chardonnay - nice light gold color, rich oaky nose and a nice crisp taste, with some citrus notes and a pleasant flinty finish. Served with grilled swordfish w/ herb butter and spiced grilled red onions - stood up to the spices very well and was a great pairing for the meal.
