  Had a bottle a few months ago and wasn’t a fan, but opened two today and they were consistently better. Definitely a full-throttle style and not much in the way of subtlety here - spicy, cedary and vanilla from the oak along with red cherry and raspberry compote. A confident, almost boisterous nose and a full velvety palate with rich fruit and a some residual sugar. Hint of coffee adds welcome bitterness and the tannins are slightly spiky- though you have to look for them because there’s so much going on. Just a bit of alcoholic heat on a long finish. Fun and hedonistic with a roast rib of beef

  Дешёвое Амароне из Перекрёстка. Рубиновый цвет средней плотности, чистое, полупрозрачное, по краю заметно светлее и чуть в гранатовый цвет. В аромате красные ягоды, слегка компот, маринад и овощи, копчёные ноты, скотик, спички, ваниль. Не самое приятное вино в аромате. Во вкусе плотное, средняя кислотность, умеренные танины. В общем, за 1300 ₽ норм. 87/100

  Not a classic- typical off-dry bittersweet profile and a full body but the oak is clumsy, it’s one-dimensional and the alcoholic heat is a turnoff.

  Tasted at Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. Tasting of Italian wines. Medium garnet colour. Closed nose. Off dry, moderate sweetness. Full bodied.
