Opened it for dinner tonight (Turkish lamb skewers was the main dish). Intense aromas of cherry, black fruits, and blackberries from the moment it was poured without decanting. Deep ruby inky red color. On the palate, M+ acidity with bitter cherries, cherry pit, black plum, and raw spices. Smooth tannins throughout two hours of savoring this wine, loved the change as it opens up! Old leather, and grippy. Smokey and spicy finish. It lingers. Very well balanced. I will definitely buy more of this at this price point of US$13, very good value!
Great with food and very good on its own. I will update my review in the next two days since we saved some from the bottle to taste again tomorrow and probably the next day.

Random purchase at the LCBO, had never seen single-varietal Graciano. Only $20 (CDN), was the QPR winner of a Rioja/Rhone tasting. Lots of spice and florality, especially a couple of days later.

The initial scent of burnt match wasn't encouraging, but this improved gradually over three days. Some red fruit, roasted coffee, and plenty of grippy tannins. Wasn't paying attention and found loads of tartrate crystals packed at the bottom of the last glass.
