  tasted this Sangiovese at the winery in Plymouth (for my birthday) and i really liked the wood flavor on it. Made it stand out a bit from other Sangioveses i tasted that weekend. Tonight: opened and let it breathe for about an hour.... had it with lamb lollypops that were marinated in olive oil and rosemary overnight. Reverse seared with the drenched rosemary on top... finished off on the hot grill.
  
  Wine was little sour on the front end, but nice! with the lamb lollys: it ratcheted up the sweet to compliment the also slightly increased sour...a really nice balance of sweet and sour with the food. We enjoyed it! will get another bottle when we get the chance to purchase again.
  The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry and oak. The body is medium. The wine finishes medium.
