A very pleasant every day chard with not too much oak or butter. You can still taste the fruit and it does not have a harsh finish. A crisp, clean taste.

calera wines: nose: nice traditional california chardonnay nose of mangoes, lime tones, vanilla, and some bits of oak flavor
taste: nice fat feel of vanilla, mango, and some butter aspects(but not over the top and this is something I normally look for in cali chards), and marmalade
overall: a pretty good attack and finish with a nice fat feel

Lush, rich and buttery, but countered with enough acidity to stay on lively. A bit flat on the mid-palate, this is still probably a crowd pleaser.
