Decanted for over an hour and served with homemade lasagna. Very nice and approachable now. The nice pepper carries from the nose to the palate with nice long peppery spicy finish. Nose also has dark fruit or plums and flavors of anise and dried herbs or perhaps cedar or oak comes through. Tannins are long and smooth already not grippy. But can feel the structure is there if you can keep your hands off it for another 5+ years. Very happy we tried it now. This vintage can easily give Black Hills Carm a run we think which is another favorite of ours.

Full throttle aromas of black pepper and burnt toast, followed by good structure and firm tannins. This wine needs to settle down a bit but I think the potential is very promising.

Still raw. Green notes. It needs time - be patient!

Scored this a notch lower this time. I found it a bit green and detected some heat. Maybe just in a disjointed phase.

Full bodied Carm from one of the best red producers in BC. Raisin on the entry, followed by prominent green pepper notes. Soft tannins.
Wait 2 or 3 years before opening a bottle.
