  Took along to a wonderful John Gorka concert at Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry.
  Fabulous nose of tobacco, cherries, rose petals. Tannins are fully resolved (still plenty of time left, though) and the wine was drinking beautifully. Bracing acidity kept the wine fresh and lively. Mineral laden and silky seamless mouthfeel. Second time I have had this wine and it didn't disappoint; just a perfect example of what heights barbera (with a little nebbiolo mixed in) can reach. So wish I had purchased more of these when they were available!!
