Brief tasting, no extensive notes. Improved over half hour open during impromptu tasting, fresh and not too old by even a bit, but still not much here to really get excited about and probably not worth cellaring.

An expressive nose with notes of cherries, menthol, earth and an underlying floral element; Although this shows some signs of the ripeness of the vintage, the red fruits are fairly calm and well balanced; The tannins do not feel completely integrated, but this is still an interesting aged Burgundy that is also quite a bargain

No resemblance to a typical Cali Pinot. Deep, dark, rich and complex, there is no bowl of cherries hitting you in the mouth. Very earthy and herbal rather than floral. This was opened and decanted at the restaurant and surely could have used several hours more decanter time. I really liked this but a dining partner gave hers away. At 15 years, this is still strong stuff. I'd love to taste it in another 5.

Beautiful nose. Cherries, raspberries and menthol.

Decent; quite acidic and fruit is restrained. An interesting drink, but nothing memorable. Needs food, as acidity is high.
