Garnet. Med+ int on the nose with wet leaves, mushrooms, cloves and dried, red fruits. Hints of something spicy too. Med body, med+ acidity, med(+) tannins. Surprisingly rough tannins. Very little fruit left. Sour cherries, more mushrooms, hints of cinnamon. Rather structured, but the skinny fruit fades fast. Later, with more air, the fruit comes more forward, revealing nice notes of red cherries and strawberries. Med long finish. Interesting, well worth an evening of tasting.

Nice. Probably past it's prime, but nice secondary flavors of mushroom, dry seaweed, smoked salmon, tied together by a still-fresh lingering acitidy, raspberry perfume and cherry skins.
