As I went to review this wine I saw review by G RUQT and couldn't begin to describe all that complexity out of it but I'd agree totally with the "atypical" NZ SB description. Really enjoyed this and at the Costco $13 it's a great QPR. Will look to buy again.

This atypical NZ SB displays well balanced tastes of ripe tropical fruit, showy tart tongue pleasing acid and a glycerin mouth filling minerality. Not sweet but ripe, not acidic but tarty, not strangling but a serious core of inviting mineral. Well made, Sisters. Atypical, I say, because SB tasters regardless of country of origin, do not anticipate rich ripe fruit (as in fine Riesling), tart matched with a lingering coating of that white wine rare glycerin, underlayer of persistent softish mineral.
Many well made wines are atypical, open your palate and taste the difference.
