Pale colour. Recessed nose at first. Very dry with lemon citrus predominant (and a touch of ‘sherbet lemon’). Lemon pith and baking apples later. It lost its initial sharpness as it warmed and settled down. A mineral/flint backbone and good, lip-smacking acidity. A good fish/shellfish wine. Perhaps it has benefitted from time in bottle. Better than expected for a fairly inexpensive bottle. Very good a couple of hours later with poached salmon in a garlic/pesto sauce. I have raised my score a point. 88+
