Deepest plum colour. Surprisingly mild, dry aroma, a pure red fruit note. Considering the strength, it's very accessible, sweet and plush, mild tannin, a little spice, quite straightforward red-black fruit. Good value but too strong for me these days. [Screwcap; 14.5% abv; Great Grog, £12.39].

Very ripe nose, maraschino cherries, cloves, touch of vanilla. A little porty. Liquorice, dark cherries, quite noticeable acidity and some smoky spices, a little tannin and a sweet finish. It's ok, tastes very confected.
