Opened with heaps of fruit with strong whole bunch stalky element. Initial impressions very good. Then with airing the fruit dropped off precipitously and a very structured wine (fruit deficient) evident and I started to get smoke taint coming through. I know 2020 was smoke tainted for some Victorian vineyards, don't know about Geelong and don't know about Farr in particular. Anyway I will search for 2019 to buy or wait for 2021 vintage as this is a wine of two parts.

Very green, stalky and green capsicum. Wasn’t overly sold on this years release.
