  • This was a tasty boy. Still a baby and needs some more time, but there is already a lot of pleasure in the bottle.

Decanted for 3 hours, nose was a little muted at first but evolved into a pretty blend of rose, a little spice and pomegranate. Clean, bright ruby red colour, glossy and gorgeous.

Palate was layered and complex and unfurled slowly in the mouth. Similar to the aromas, with a bit of strawberry and darker berries thrown in. Long and very satisfying. As good as, if not better than some 1er crus I’ve had from Gevry-Chambertin.
