  Citrus, maize and spice on the nose. Buttered popcorn, candle wax, apple pear, mint on the palate. It's pretty weird how INconsistent the nose and palate are from each other. Subtle oak influence at first; but it ramps up toward the end of the palate; which feels like a vanilla bomb. It's almost as if the wine anchors down on the finish. Medium bodied, medium acid.
