Raspberry and something earthy on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, raspberry, and notes of plum, earth, and light savory spice, with moderate tannins and strong acidity on the medium finish. As it is now, this was an average to below average value at a little over $60; it falls a little short in complexity and elegance, although it may improve as it ages.

PnP and followed for two days. Black cherry, plum, red cherry, a little raspberry, smoke, a little forest floor, and herbs on the nose, though it took a little coaxing to get some of these aromas. Tart cherry, plum, black and red cherry, spice, earth, and a little graphite on the palate. A bit of spicy heat. Really nice mouthwatering acidity, lightly grippy tannins, medium finish. Overall, this was a solid but big pinot, and it didn't scream Oregon to me. Also the alcohol seemed a bit too noticeable. That said, it was well-made. Maybe it will pick up a little more complexity in a few years.

Quite a bit bigger and robust than typical for Willamette Valley. A fine beverage but I would have appreciated a little more lift and nuance than power.

Relatively robust and full for an OR pinot noir, more CA in style. Beautiful pinot fruit and a real pleasure to drink but not a deep thinker of a pinot. I think a bit pricey for what it is. OTOH, this was consumed at a restaurant with lousy glassware which I find never helps any wine show its best so it might go up a notch served under better circumstances. Still, a delicious drinker. 3+ (out of 5).
